Pittsburg girls wrestling qualified eight wrestlers for the Class 5A state tournament and finished fourth with 135 points Saturday in the Class 5A East regional at Bonner Springs. Basehor-Linwood won the regional title with 275, Shawnee Heights finished second with 212.5 and Kansas City Piper took third with 153.5 points. Savannah Shires (115 pounds) won a regional title, Kaitlyn Allen (130), Kiana Berryman (140) and Ashley Batres Perez (235) each finished second, Brecken Campbell (135) finished third, Kylin Perry (155) placed fifth and Yeshvi Patel (105) and Alexis Burns (145) both placed seventh.
