Jane Leslie Victor

Posted

Jane Leslie Victor, born March 1948, went to that great library in the sky on July 22, 2024. She left behind her daughter, Clarissa Victor, and her son, David Kasarjian, as well as two sisters and many friends and family. Jane was, for many years, the librarian at the Leonard H. Axe Library at Pittsburg State University. Born in New York, she traveled the world. During her time in the Peace Corp. she was in Thailand. She worked as a medical school librarian in Dominica. She finally settled in Pittsburg, Kansas. She loved reading books and watching movies, and she also spoke French and Spanish. Jane retired from PSU due to complications from Parkinson’s – but she never let that disease control her life or limit her joy. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Leonard H. Axe Library on August 8, 2024, at 12 p.m. All are welcome to attend and share stories.
