MIAA changes baseball tournament schedule

With an unfavorable weather forecast for later in the week, the MIAA office altered the schedule Tuesday for this week’s conference baseball tournament.
The first two days of the tournament will be played at two sites – Missouri Southern’s Warren Turner Field and Pittsburg State’s Al Ortolani Field. The original schedule had all games at MSSU.

Both Pitt State teams are heavy favorites for this year’s meet at Emporia State. Competition in the women’s heptathlon and men’s decathlon begins Friday and concludes Saturday. The rest of the meet starts Saturday and ends Sunday.
