KANSAS CITY, Mo. — In a matter of one year, Pittsburg State's status in the MIAA women's basketball picture has changed.
Last year the Gorillas were picked eighth in the preseason coaches poll, but after a fourth-place finish in the conference standings and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament, PSU is third in this year's poll, which was announced Tuesday morning at the MIAA Media Day at the College Basketball Experience.
