Kimberly “Kim” Ann Saccanne, 66, of Pittsburg, passed away at 1:28 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026, at her home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1959, in Pittsburg, to Charles Riley and Lorraine (Vollmar) Saccanne. Kim attended local schools, living in the Pittsburg area for most of her life.
She attended Life Changers Church, where she was active. Kim read her bible and her devotionals almost every day.
In 2018, Kim made her home with New Hope Services in Pittsburg, where she built many wonderful friendships. She embraced life wholeheartedly — competing in the Special Olympics, going on vacations and outings, attending Special Needs Proms, and enjoying shopping trips. A devout person, Kim always welcomed the opportunity to pray for and with others, and she took pleasure in writing cards and letters to her loved ones.
Kim was such a spunky lady who loved to dance and sing to gospel music. She always knew how to bring joy and put a smile on everyone's face, and she cared deeply about those around her.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Charles Saccanne, her mother, Lorraine Hobson, and her brother, Walter Lewis Saccanne.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Brenner Mortuary with Pastor Roger Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Kimberly will be deeply missed by everyone in her New Hope family. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to New Hope Services. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762. Friends may leave online condolences at www.brennermortuary.com.
