GIRARD, Kan. — After many months of discussion, surveys and more discussion, the Crawford County Commission Friday approved countywide zoning and addressed the contentious issues of renewable energy with a split decision – no new wind farms, regulation of existing turbines and solar as long as it doesn’t impact residential areas.
