KDWP resumes stocking rainbow trout

Connor Ossowski, Pittsburg District fisheries biologist with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks announced Wednesday that KDWP will resume the winter stocking schedule with a stocking of 1,200 rainbow trout on the Mined Land Wildlife Area Unit #30 “Trout Pit” on Feb. 15, and 1,200 rainbow trout on March 3. more
Special Olympics of Kansas (SOKS) hosted its two-day Southeast Kansas Regional Basketball Competition on Tuesday and Wednesday. The competition was held in the John Lance Arena at Pittsburg State University’s Weede Gymnasium. Tuesday’s event was for adults, while Wednesday’s event was for youth. more
