Traveling down 69 bypass past Four Oaks Golf Course the other day I found myself reminiscing about all the time I spent there over the years, starting with when the course opened in 1971. I was 21, unmarried and just out of college, so I played three or four times a week with a group around my age. Most times we played for a dime or a quarter a hole to make it interesting.
