Thomas Eugene Langley, 77, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on Aug. 18, 2024, at Ascension Via Christi Village.
Thomas was born on Nov. 14, 1946, in Wichita, KS, to Clarence and Betty (Trefethen) Langley. He married Mary Julie Englebright in West Mineral, KS. She preceded him in death in 2007. Later that year, he married Katey Powers.
Thomas served in the United States Army from March 1964 to April 1970 and was deployed to Vietnam from 1969 to 1970.
He is survived by his children: Larry Robert Brewer of the Philippines; Mark and Leslie Brewer of Sacramento, CA; Thomas J. Langley and Lou Powell of McCune, KS; and daughter Brandie and Mike Weddle of Dallas, OR. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Ray Brewer, who passed in 2007.
Thomas is also survived by five brothers: Kim Schmidt, Gary Everett, Howard Morang, and Rick Morang, Larry Englebright and four sisters: Pat Morang, Mary Lou Wacker, Kathy Parrish, and Pearlene Eastman. He leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and his son, Timothy Brewer.
Cremation services are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
