The “Galloping (or Flying) Horse of Gansu” at Pittsburg State University has been suddenly grounded. Sometime Friday or early Saturday, the bronze sculpture, on the southeast side of University Lake, collapsed. A massive crack, just above its right rear hoof, was the culprit.
