Pittsburg Police Lt. Chris Moore and Deputy Chief Ben Henderson appealed to the Pittsburg City Commission for funding to purchase new tasers for the Pittsburg Police Department on Tuesday. According to Henderson, the money requested not only purchases 55 new tasers, but also provides for safety equipment used when training, provisions for training instructors, and replacement cartridges for five years.
