PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Pittsburg Fire Department hosted a training exercise at Station 2 on Monday. Firefighters from Parsons, Chanute, Iola, and Frontenac participated in a confined space rescue training. As part of the Kansas Task Force 4, the departments train together to combine their resources and expertise to conduct various rescue operations around the country, according to Pittsburg Fire Chief Taylor Cerne. more
