Saturday, Dec. 24, is the last official day Salvation Army bell ringers will be out in the public until next year’s holiday season. Although the nonprofit has been working hard to collect donations for its annual Christmas fundraiser, this week’s cold weather and lack of volunteers has forced the organization to reduce the number of buckets on the street to a single indoor location at Ron’s Supermarket.
