Ricky "Rick" Lee Jones, 65, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2023. He was born November 16, 1957, in Tucson, Arizona, the son of Richard "Lee" and Sandy Lee (Thomas) Jones. He attended Frontenac High School. Rick worked as a self-employed electrician and had many other technical skills and hobbies. Rick loved nature, wildlife, hunting, and fishing, and his greatest joy was his farm. His closest friends will always remember his great sense of humor and big heart, especially those in need.
He is survived by his life partner, Pamela, his mother Sandy Lee Jones of Pittsburg, KS; one brother, Randy Jones (Snow) of Pittsburg; a sister, Kelly Krantz (Kurtis) of Flower Mound, TX; a brother-in-law Christopher Pakitsos; numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard "Lee" Jones, and his sister, Kimberley (Kim) Pakitsos.
A private family Celebration of Life and interment will be held at a later date.
