Linda S. Dohle, 66, of Arma, Kansas, passed away at home July 16, 2023 from cancer. Per her wishes, Linda has been cremated. No public services will be held.
She was a beautiful, smart, warm, loving, and brave soul. She took the good with the bad and always stayed ever the optimist person even through her journey with cancer.
She was born in Gary, Indiana, to Roy and Virginia Bolton on February 23, 1957. Both preceded her in death.
She was married to Danny Joe Dohle of Arma, Kansas, who preceded her in death in January 2005.
She would later go on to spend a wonderful 15 years with her partner and caregiver Jim Harvey, who survives her.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, partner, and friend. She loved her family with every fiber of her being. She was so incredibly loved by her family and the people closest to her who knew her well.
She is survived by:
One daughter, Amanda Mize of Pittsburg, KS;
Three grandchildren, David Carlen of Joplin, MO, Patience (Mize) Cook of Pittsburg, KS, and Laramie Carlen of Pittsburg, KS;
One brother, Roy Bolton, and his wife, Sandy, of Ft. Scott, KS who she called her sister and best friend;
Two sisters, Debra Haza and Lori Sturgell, both of Missouri.
I am my mother's garden,
I am her legacy,
And I hope today she feels the love
Reflected back from me.
