Dubbed the Veterans First Medical Cannabis Act, Senate Bill 171, if passed, would allow for the growing, selling, and use of marijuana for medical purposes. For the first 60 days after passage, only armed forces veterans, including current members, or their caregivers, will be allowed to apply for and obtain identification cards.
