Gina Marie Davied, 63, of Frontenac, KS, died on February 12, 2023, at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
Gina was born on December 16, 1959, the daughter of Herman Eugene McDaniels and Elsie Marie Hurlbut. She was a proud graduate of Frontenac High School in 1977 and went on to marry Joseph Louis Davied on December 30, 1983.
Gina was a loving homemaker and devoted her life to her family. She was an avid traveler and loved taking trips to Branson with her husband. She was also a talented basketball player and starred on her high school team.
She is survived by her beloved husband, two sons, Josh Davied and fiancé Lindsey Laderer of Weir, KS, Cody of Frontenac, KS and his girlfriend Abbie Russell of Joplin, MO; brother, Kevin McDaniels of Arma, KS; grandson Tucker Davied; mother-in-law Pauline (Pat) Davied; and several in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac, KS, with burial to follow in the Frontenac City Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Friskel Funeral Home, 230 E. McKay Frontenac, KS 66763.
