Carolleen Mary Marrs passed away September 16, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. She was born to Antone Fernetti and Olevia (Gomaz) Fernetti on October 29, 1939, in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Carolleen had an incredibly generous heart and spirit. She was independent, feisty, and full of love and compassion. She loved volunteer work and gave her time selflessly to many nursing homes, hospices, and the hospital. She offered her heart and prayers to all the patients she visited, and also their families…and brought countless to Jesus. She won several awards for her volunteer work and was chosen to be an ombudsman for a local nursing home. She was a member of Sisters of Humility and some of her poems were published in the monthly newsletter. She loved birds, animals, and poetry. She wrote many wonderful and beautiful poems that she said were inspired by God and her family. She loved making people laugh and had a comedy routine called "Almost Angel" that she performed at local businesses and churches.

Most of all, Carolleen was a woman of God and prayed daily for all those she loved. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed immeasurably.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antone and Olevia Fernetti; her husband, Oren L. Marrs; her grandson, Joshua Zane Hughlett; and her sister, Tonna Zuech.

Carolleen is survived by her daughter, Kim Hughlett and her husband Jeff; her son, Terry Marrs and his wife Fern; four grandchildren: Taylor Hughlett, Whitney Hughlett, Jason Johnson, and Jentry Dodd; five great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Ernest Zuech; and a host of other family and friends.

A special thank you to Frances and Glenn Hollifield for the love and care they gave to her over the years.
