Arma residents are mourning the loss of Mayor Rock Anderson, who passed away last Tuesday, Dec. 6, after a long battle with cancer. A native of Pennsylvania, it was not until later in life that Anderson came to Arma, where he worked as a manager for General Machinery in Pittsburg and O’Brien in Fort Scott. Anderson was elected mayor just last year.
