Throughout Wednesday morning, high school students as well as Pittsburg State University students gathered on the main campus for several workshops as part of WritersFest. In Grubbs Hall, led by professor Casie Hermansson, students sat in on a workshop that covered how to write resumes and cover letters. In the Overman Student Center, students learned from professors Lori Martin and Chase Dearinger how to ace a writing contest and the basics of writing a story.
