Kevin Upshaw played a rousing acoustic set at Pickled Pete's in Frontenac Friday night. He took requests from the audience and played hits from George Strait, Jason Isbell, and Garth Brooks. The SEK Humane Society had a fundraiser downtown on Saturday for the shelter animals medical fund. The community was encouraged to bring in a picture of their pet and members of the SEKHS and board members would draw pictures of their pet. The proceeds go to the shelter pets’ medical expenses.
