Timothy Patrick Mangan, 74, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on July 26, 2023, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Tim was born on December 14, 1948, to Stephen Patrick and Dorothy Rose (Jones) Mangan in Independence, KS. He married Janne Ann Cron on January 5, 1995. She survives of the home.
Tim worked for Southwestern Bell for over 34 years. Tim was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Pitt State athletics fan. In his retirement, Tim earned national-level certification to band songbirds, continued to fish, and spend time with his beloved children and grandchildren. He was an active member of the First Christian Church.
In addition to his wife Janne Ann Mangan of Pittsburg, KS, he is survived by a son, Stephen Patrick Mangan and his wife Melissa of Springfield, MO; a daughter, Tiffany Anne Dahlman and her husband Tim of Hope Mills, NC; a brother, Tony Mangan of Arma, KS; a sister, Mary Beitzinger and her husband Phil of Pittsburg, KS; and six grandchildren, Oliver Patrick Mangan, Arthur Wendell Mangan, Judah Dahlman, Caleb Dahlman, Gilead Rain Dahlman, and Simon Dahlman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church with Pastor Dustin Morris officiating. Memorial donations can be made to St. Mary's Annual Appeal Class of 1966, Purple Martin Conservation Association, and/or First Christian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
