Kathi Lunday of Creating Quilts of Valor awarded a pair of quilts to a veteran couple at the Frontenac American Legion on Wednesday. Carl and Hope Mahnken both served in the US Army, Carl as an officer, Hope as enlisted. They met while stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia.
