ALLEN COUNTY, Kan. – One person was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after a rear end collision in Allen County Friday morning.
The accident occurred on U.S. Route 54, three miles east of La Harpe.
According to Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP), at 10:08 a.m. a 2001 Dodge Ram Pickup driven by 18-year-old Walker Logan of Gas was facing eastbound and stopped to make a left turn. A 2007 Cadillac CTS driven by 75-year-old Cheryl Wallis of Moran was driving eastbound as well and ran into the rear of the Dodge Ram.
Wallis was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center for a suspected serious injury, according to the KHP. Logan was not hurt in the crash.
