The Mount Carmel Foundation, established in 1982, announced this week that “in light of the recent announcement that Via Christi Hospital Pittsburg will be merging with Mercy Hospital,” it (the Foundation) will transfer its assets to the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK).
