But on the final trip, quarterback Chad Dodson hit wide receiver Jack Roberts with a five-yard touchdown pass with one minute left to lift the No. 7 Gorillas to an 18-17 victory over Fort Hays State before a homecoming crowd of 9,265 Saturday afternoon at Carnie Smith Stadium.
