Judith Ann Doudna, 79 of Pittsburg, KS died Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Via Christi Village in Pittsburg.
She was born November 6, 1944 in Parsons, KS the daughter of Sydney and Agnes (Yunk) Denomme.
On September 4, 1965, she was united in marriage to Douglas Doudna who survives her.
Judy worked as a cook at Harry's Café and at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg for many years. She also worked at National Mills and Pitt Plastics.
She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Doudna of Pittsburg; a sister, Jeanne (Henry) Buset of Pittsburg; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Robert, Jerry, and Dave Denomme; and a sister, Barbara Hawley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Andrew Labenz as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Parish rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. at the funeral home where visitation will follow.
