Glorius Dolline Kruse, of Hepler, died at 6:25 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at her residence.
Dolline was born October 12, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a daughter of Roy and Mamie (Jose) Pulliam. At an early age, her family moved to the Redfield, Kansas area and she grew up and attended schools in Uniontown, Kansas.
Dolline married Charles D. Kruse on September 28, 1964 in Fort Scott, Kansas. Charles survives of the home.
She worked as a nurse aide at Fort Scott Mercy Hospital for most of her life before taking care of their daughter, Brenda, from 2013 until 2015.
She was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her cats.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, Charlie, of the home, are a son, Rick Kruse, and his wife, Carol, of Lawrence, Kansas; her daughter, Susie Peak, and her husband, Donny, of Parsons, Kansas; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; her sister, Stella Duffield of Arma, Kansas.
Dolline was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Jo Davis, on August 30, 2015; a son, Steve Kruse, on January 2, 2017; her brother, Benjamin Pulliam.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 24, 2023 at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard where friends may call after 2:00 p.m., Monday.
Memorials are suggested to the SEK Humane Society and these may be left at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
