It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dylan C. Smith, 30, on September 8, 2023.
Dylan was born in Manhattan, Kansas, on July 10, 1993. Dylan enjoyed music, politics, debating, and nature. He was known for his carefree and adventurous spirit.
As quoted by his grandfather, Dylan was "A young man with the light of adventure and travel in his eyes, and touch of wildness in his soul."
Dylan is survived by his mother, Hope Smith, and his father, Terry Smith. He is survived by his brother, Tanner Smith (Alicia), and their four children, Journey, Jackson, HopeLynn, and Spencer. He is also survived by his sister, Lizzy Smith (Joel), and his grandparents Chuck and Joyce Menghini. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
