David Lee McDonald, age 71, passed away at Pittsburg Care and Rehabilitation Home where he had been a resident for several years.
David was born on April 28, 1953, to Marlin and Mary (Mulligan) McDonald of Frontenac, Kansas. He attended Frontenac schools and shortly after graduation, married Mary Ellen Semien of Pittsburg. Throughout his life, he worked in several professions including as a cook, delivery driver and construction.
David is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dwight Wesley McDonald; his wife Mary Ellen, and a daughter, Carrie McDonald. He is survived by a son, Christopher McDonald of Pittsburg, and two grandsons, Camden and Jason of Pittsburg. Also survivors include a sister; Mary Cassatt (Gary); a brother, Mark Wayne McDonald of Frontenac and a brother, Dennis (Denice) McDonald of Haysville Kansas.
His memory will live on with the many friends and relatives who loved him. His memory will also be preserved next to his wife in Frontenac City Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
