WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ Curo Group Holdings Corp. (CURO) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $25.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Wichita, Kansas-based company said it had profit of 63 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 29 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 4 cents per share.
The consumer finance company posted revenue of $214.1 million in the period, which also missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $220.8 million.
