When local citizen Lucy Mwanzia first contacted the Pittsburg Public Library in 2022 to see if she could teach a class on her skill, she wasn’t sure anyone wanted to learn about calligraphy. But now with two Modern Calligraphy for Beginners classes under her belt, she has instructed over two dozen individuals the art of decorative penmanship.
