Larry Allen Lepo, Sr.

Larry was born in Pittsburg, KS, on May 10, 1946, to John and Fannie Lipasek Lepo.

He was raised in Arma, KS, and graduated from Arma High School in 1964.

Larry worked for the City of Pittsburg Kansas Utility Department for 40 years, finally retiring in 2004 as water superintendent. For 4 years following, he worked as a laborer at Four Oaks Golf Course, making many friends of coworkers and golfers from the community.

He married Shirley Stanley in 1964. They later divorced. Larry married Judith Ellen Denham in March of 1968. Larry and Judy were married until her death in 2016. They became full time RVers in 2008, where they travelled throughout the U.S. and began wintering in McAllen, Texas. They purchased a park trailer, which he referred to as their "Trailer Trashmahal". The climate and culture of the Rio Grande Valley is what kept them returning every winter season until they decided to make McAllen, Texas their all-year residence.

Larry was proceded in death by both parents; son Larry Jr, half-sisters, Frances Govaker and Mary Bilek, and half brother Johnny Lepo.

He is survived by daughter, Tami Paul of Kansas; grandsons, Zachary Taroli of Kentucky, Calvin Lepo, Brett Lepo, and Jacob Manley of Missouri; granddaughters, Katelynn Higgins and Makenna Higgins of Missouri; one brother, Joe Eugene Lepo and wife, Rubyann, of Florida; four special friends, who were a comfort after Judy's death: Sally Wydick of Missouri, Petra Mercado, Pablo Silva, and Elvia Cepena of Texas; great-granddaughters, Emma and Kinsley; great-grandsons, Brennon, James, and Jordan; Calvin Lepo's fiancée Megan Scheete, Katelynn Higgins' fiancée Derek Olive, Mckenna Higgins' fiancée Mark McIntyre, and Jacob Manley's fiancée Kaylee Miller.
