Wendy Susan Morris, 67, of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died at 4:01 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, in the Oklahoma University Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Wendy was born March 8, 1955, in Miami, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joseph and Alice Ruby (Blackett) Smith. She grew up in Girard and attended Girard Schools.
Wendy worked as a manager at The Mall Deli in Pittsburg before moving to Blackwell in 2015. She was the manager at Braum's in Blackwell.
Wendy enjoyed caring for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson, and arts and crafts.
Survivors include her daughter, Megan Hillhouse of Pittsburg; her grandchildren, Maddison Hiten, and her husband, Josh, of Blackwell and Ryan Hillhouse of Blackwell; as well as her great-grandson, Daylon Grant of Blackwell.
Wendy was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Ronald Smith, and Larry Smith.
Memorial graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at the Girard Cemetery, with Pastor Rick Prideaux officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
