Ronald Eugene Christian, 73, of Mulberry, KS, died on May 6, 2025. He was born on May 3, 1952, in Kansas City, MO, to William and Loretta (McConnell) Christian.
Ronald was united in marriage to Nancy Rains on Dec. 11, 1972, in Girard, KS. They celebrated over 50 years of marriage. He worked as a union heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers Local 101 until his retirement.
He was a proud member of the Operating Engineers Local 101 and enjoyed spending his free time camping and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy, of the home; three children: Ronald Christian II “Dink” of Paola, KS; Loretta Denise Jones of Pittsburg, KS; Melissa Dawn Bolton (Mike) of Mulberry, KS, siblings; Sandra Douglas and Edward Beard, both of Mulberry, KS; Robert Christian (Janice) of CA; and Kathleen Scholes of Girard, KS; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry, KS. Family will receive friends for visitation at 10 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
