As the country approaches its 250th birthday, the Oceanus Hopkins Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented an America 250 Celebration Grant to Pittsburg State University in the amount of $500 to purchase American flags to be flown at the Veterans’ Memorial in Pittsburg.
