Thanks to early foul trouble in both halves, Northwest Missouri's Diego Bernard was well-rested during the final minutes.
Bernard sparked the No. 1 Bearcats down the stretch in a 73-62 victory over Pittsburg State on Saturday afternoon on Whetzel Court in John Lance Arena.
