Posted

OSWEGO, Kan. — The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) announced Thursday that it planned to open the new Labette Creek bridge on U.S. 59/U.S. 160 by the end of the day.

The bridge was expected to open to traffic by 5 p.m. It is located approximately six miles northwest of Oswego. The work zone has been closed to traffic since late March.

Slow down and drive with care, and watch for workers who are completing final tasks at the bridge site, KDOT advised. Check KDOT’s updated traveler information website, www.Kandrive.org, for more highway condition and construction details.
