Little Firecrackers

PITTSBURG, Kan. — There was no shortage of cuteness Friday morning during the Little Firecrackers Baby Contest during the City of Pittsburg’s July 4 festivities.

In the zero-to-five-month age category for boys, the winners were Damien Hawpe in first place, Michael York in second and Xerrick Jones in third. For girls, the winners were Skylee Hierholzerer in first place, Callie Stewart in second and Emani Burns in third.

In the six-to-11-month age category for boys, the winners were Jace Mouse in first place, Emmett Palumbo in second and Tyler Badart in third. For girls, the winners were Lainee Rakestraw in first place, Alice Toney in second and Callyn Becraft in third.

In the 12-to-24-month age category for boys, the winners were Montgomery McDonald in first place and Kaylee Towner in second. For girls, the winners were Daedra Kosman in first place, Ava Sotta in second and Leyana Alan in third.
