Jo Ann Bailey, 82, of rural Girard, passed away Nov. 1, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri.
She is survived by her two sisters, Vera Wright and Kathy Lamb as well as her four children: Thomas (Jean), Timothy (Jennifer), Tammie (Donald), and Terry (Kathey). There are five grandchildren, Shawn, Andy, Jason, Destiny, and Lynsie and 3 great-grandchildren, Zoey, Elyse, and Kaleva. Many nieces, nephews, and other family who loved her as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Edith “Bobbie Long” Gartner and her husband, Thomas Bailey.
She enjoyed playing bridge, golf, and bowling. She was active for many years in The Women of The Moose.
