PITTSBURG, Kan. — Charlie Brown would be shocked at the sight of children scrambling for rocks on Halloween. But for the past five years, some Pittsburg children have made it into a tradition.

From 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, tables full of 350 colorful, painted rocks will be set up at Paul B. Leffler Rotary Park, 757 W. 4th St., along with small bags of candy.
