It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Jean Murray on May 7, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Donna was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved deeply and put all that she had into her relationships with her family and friends.
Donna is survived by her loving family husband Marlin Murray of Girard, KS, daughter Danielle Lamb (Ricky Lamb) of Wichita, KS, stepson Chris Murray of Tulsa, OK, stepson Luke Murray of Ft Scott, KS, brother Randy Smith (Donna Smith) of Glenpool, OK, mother-in-law Birdie Murray of Richmond, KS, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Donna is preceded in death by her parents LO and Frances Davis and Erma and Lane Smith, sister Barbara Capps and brother Dennis Smith.
Funeral services will be held on May 15 at Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard, KS. at 2 p.m. The Girard American Legion will host a Celebration of Life following the funeral at 4 p.m.
