PITTSBURG, Kan. —T&D Donkey Rescue is an equine lover's paradise but caring for more than 100 donkeys and horses is nothing short of expensive. This Saturday, the nonprofit rescue site is hosting a 5K walk/run to raise funds.
The 5K walk/run, which will be at the Crawford County Fairgrounds, 249 E 47 Highway in Girard, will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registrations starting at 8 a.m.
