Dale Allen Banks, age 69, died Feb. 20, 2025, after a hospitalization for Congested Heart Failure at Mercy Hospital Joplin, MO. Dale was born in Fredonia, Kansas on Aug. 28, 1955, to Ted and Elvina (Nightingale) Banks. Dale attended grade school at Coyville Grade School. He graduated from Fredonia High School in 1973. He attended Pitt State College and received an associate degree.
Dale was married to Terri (Raine) Banks in 1979, after she passed, he married Alice (Burdick) Banks in 1998, who also passed. At the time of Dale’s death, he was married to Robyn (Kennedy) Banks on June 20, 2009.
Dale leaves his children, sons Aaron (Tina L) Banks, Ben and Austin Burdick. Daughters Tina and Ashtin Burdick, Sons James D. (Sarah) and Eric (Lisa) Wright. Granddaughters Brooke, London, Kaylee, Kinsey (Aaron), Maddie (Ben), Alianna, Aliyah (Ashtin), and Mila, Ila (Eric). Grandsons Preston, Jace, Dayton, Timothy, Sebastian, Daniel, Ryden and Morgan (James D).
At the time of Dales death, he was enjoying his retirement. He worked for RCY/KAW Valley for over 15 years as a Unit Coordinator. Right before his marriage to Robyn, he worked for Wal-Mart in Pittsburg, Kansas for several years. Dale enjoyed woodworking projects, fishing and spending time with his family.
Immediate family still living are brothers Ted (Kay), Dick, Bob (Brenda) Banks and sisters Carol Plotner, Cindy Raine and Mother-in-law Sandy Raine who Dale considered his mother-in-law his whole life.
Proceeded in death by his parents Ted and Elvina Banks, previous wife's Terri (Raine) Banks (4/12/1985), Alice (Burdick) Banks (1/7/2006), and sister Janet (Banks) Wright.
On April 5, 2025, at the Coyville Community Center Decatur Rd in Coyville Kansas, there will be a Memorial Service starting at 2 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life where family and friends can gather to celebrate the life of Dale.
