Connor was, and remains to be, a bright spirit in the lives of his family and friends. He was a beautiful son, brother, grandson, and also a great friend to so many. He was an intelligent and fun-loving person with a great sense of humor. He loved his friends, family, and classmates, as well as his Chiefs, Royals, and Razorbacks! To sum up his life in a couple of paragraphs is impossible, but he will be dearly missed by us all.
Connor loved his faith family and attended Saint Michael’s school from K-8, then graduated from Rockhurst High School in 2017. He received a finance degree from the University of Arkansas and was currently a second-year law student at UMKC.
Connor is survived by his parents, Alan and Stacy Phillips, his brother Caleb and his sister Carmen of Leawood, KS. He is also survived by his grandparents, Edgar and Authorene Phillips of Marshall, MO and Ron and Betty Scripsick of Pittsburg, KS; his uncles and aunts, Charles and Tracy Phillips of Overland Park, KS, James Phillips of Santa Maria, CA, Chris and Kim Scripsick of Pittsburg, KS; and cousins Rachel, Evan and Elizabeth Phillips and Ali, Ava, and Aubrey Scripsick, as well as countless friends and classmates.
Visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00pm on Sunday, April 2, 2023 in Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 14251 Nall Avenue, Leawood, KS 66223. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Monday, April 3, in Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.
