LA MALBAIE, Quebec (AP) — Top diplomats from the Group of 7 industrialized democracies on Friday were wrapping up their final day of talks that have been overshadowed by U.S. President Donald Trump’s trade and foreign policies as well as his repeated taunts toward host Canada. Despite the tensions, diplomats signaled they would reach consensus on a final communique after hours of late-night negotiations. Diplomats from three countries said they believed they were 99% of the way toward completing a joint statement that would reflect the group's positions.
