Brandi Tomlinson, of Parsons, received her Quilt of Valor Saturday at the Veterans’ Memorial in Pittsburg. Tomlinson served with the 4th Brigade of the famous 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley and FOB Falcon, Iraq, where she worked as a mortuary affairs liason from 2005 to 2009. Brandi was nominated by her husband, Wyat, who is retired from the US Army after 22 years and is a Quilt of Valor recipient as well.
