PITTSBURG, Kan. — Local company U.S. Awards has announced the purchase of the assets of DonnPaul Graphix, located in Grain Valley, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City. DonnPaul is a provider of chenille emblems and other embroidery services to schools and dealers.

DonnPaul Graphix has been manufacturing chenille emblems since 1992, when Paul and Donna Lindemann purchased the business. In 2010, the business changed hands to the Lindemanns’ son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Nancy Lindemann.

“Schools are looking for quality, consistency, fast turn around and great customer service,” U.S. Awards VP of Development Daniel Dellasega said in a press release. “Purchasing DonnPaul’s assets is another step forward in expanding our production capacity to increase our school base and improve our turnaround time.”

U.S. Awards, headquartered in Pittsburg, is the number one domestic manufacturer of chenille emblems and patches for the high school market. In 2020, U.S. Awards acquired Pittcraft Printing to expand its in-house manufacturing to include certificates, plaques, banners, and other school print products.

“In Spring 2022, we added 15,000 square feet of production,” VP of Production/Finance Nick Dellasega said. “This acquisition allowed us to acquire much of the equipment needed to fill the space and amp up our capacity.”

U.S. Awards has nationwide sales representation, and customers in all 50 states and abroad. In 2023, U.S. Awards, a third-generation family-owned business, will be celebrating 70 years in the school awards business.
