PITTSBURG, Kan. – After the turkey, stuffing and corporate shopping, community members turned their attention to supporting local businesses in the area.
The annual Small Business Saturday passport event encouraged consumers to make purchases at Pittsburg-based retail, food, beverage and wellness shops. Community Development Specialist Sarah Runyon reported that 336 people picked up passports from all locations and 93 turned their passports back in for the prize drawing.
