TOPEKA, Kan. — Washburn University is recently announced its President's List honorees for the spring 2023 semester. Among the students listed was Andrew O'Doherty, of Pittsburg.
Other students from the Southeast Kansas area who made the list were Emma Humble, of Fort Scott; Kenady Poyner, of Fort Scott; and Barbara Baughn, of Chanute.
To qualify for the President's List, a student must complete at least 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade point average of 4.0.
Founded in 1865, Washburn University is a public institution with more than 6,000 students involved in more than 200 academic programs. Washburn's programs lead to certification, associate, bachelor, master's degree or doctor of nursing practice and juris doctor degrees.
